The Amarillo Area Adult Literacy Council provides basic instruction in reading, writing, math and spelling to adults over 18 years of age performing below the fifth grade level. Volunteer tutors provide all instruction. Services can be provided on a one-on-one basis and can help prepare clients for employment or post-secondary classes.

The Culture Cross Ministries at the International Learning Center serves the immigrant and refugee populations in our community through the teaching of English and citizenship classes and by providing mentorship to the newest arrivals in our community.
