Family Support Services of Amarillo provides a wide variety of services to meet the diverse needs of the community, regardless of their ability to pay. These services include crisis and emergency housing services for victims of family violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, individual and family counseling services, prevention services, and a wide variety of services for Veterans, their families, and surviving spouses.

LogistiCare provides non-emergency Medicaid transportation for doctor visits.  Schedule an appointment by calling this number Monday thru Friday, 8-5, 2 days in advance of the appointment, excluding Saturdays and Sundays.

Panhandle Community Services provides low income families with support and encouragement by providing affordable housing opportunities through the Housing Choice Voucher Program, providing utility assistance, and helping with weatherization to reduce energy consumption.  Panhandle Community Services also gives seniors the opportunity to use talents by volunteering and the transit service provides public transportation throughout the Texas Panhandle.
